Ordering Options

We encourage you to order via the Internet. Corporate Express has its entire catalog with Northwestern University prices online. It is the only source to look up Northwestern University's discounted prices.

To become a part of this time saving program, e-mail netstores@northwestern.edu to sign up for a User ID and training.

Special Orders

For items such as custom stamps, furniture, and electronic equipment, order via e-mail or fax.

DO NOT ORDER VIA E-Way.

(Effective December 2003 all e-mail orders should be placed via E-Way, see above to get signed up)

To order using e-mail, complete the Office Supplies Order Form. Save the form under a different file name, for example, blank_order_form.xls, and use it as a template for future orders.

When you are ready to place an order, follow the steps below:

  • Open the blank order form.
  • Fill out the order form.
  • Put your name and phone number at the bottom of the order form.
  • Save the completed form with under a different file name. If you do not give it a unique name, the completed order form will overwrite your template.
  • Remember where you saved the completed form. Close the file on your screen.
  • Go into your e-mail and find the screen for sending a new message.
  • Attach the stores order to this screen. If using Eudora, click "Message" and click "Attach Document".
  • Find the completed Office Stores order file and click it so that it becomes an attachment to your e-mail message.
  • Address the e-mail message to: stores@northwestern.edu.
  • Click "Send".

A confirmation copy of the order will be returned to you by e-mail. The returned copy will have a tracer number which allows you to track your order. The tracer number will also appear on your budget statement in the description field when the charges are billed to your account.

Fax (Stamps, Furniture, or Special Items only)

To order via fax, print the PDF version of the Office Supplies Order Form, Furniture Order Form, or Stamps Order Form via Adobe Acrobat [You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the PDF files. The free download is available on Adobe's web site.] Fax to the Office Supplies Program at 847/491-3849.
