Permit Imprint

First Class Mail should be used when you are sending a mass mailing that requires special envelopes to be printed. By printing the proper First Class Mail indicia directly on the envelope, your mailing does not have to be run through the mailing machine and will be processed faster. There is no need for special sorting done by the sender, the mail can be sent to Mail Services in any order.

Standard A Bulk is the most economical way to send mass mailings. The envelopes should have the proper Standard A Nonprofit indicia printed on the mail piece in the upper right-hand corner. The mailing must be sorted and rubber banded by zip code according to Postal Service regulations (supplies and instructions are available from Mail Services). After the mailing arrives at Mail Services, it will be bagged, the proper documents will be prepared, and then the mailing will be taken to the Post Office.

Call Evanston Mail Services at 847/491-7227 or Chicago Mail Services at 312/503-8131 for more information on Permit Imprint.
