If your computer is less than 5 years old and in working condition: Consider donating your computer to a school or non-profit group like Computers for Schools. Or, visit tech soup's website to search for other groups that would welcome your donation. Visit the EPA's website for more tips on donating your computer. If your computer is more than 5 years old, broken, or below Pentium PC (or Mac Power) level, you should consider recycling it. University Services will accept the following equipment for recycling: desktop computers, laptops, mice, monitors, keyboards, speakers, scanners, printers, fax machines, magnetic tape, and CDs (without cases). We will pick-up computer equipment for recycling at the following rates:
