WildCARD Uses
Your WildCARD is your photo identification card and your all-purpose
card on campus. The WildCARD has five main uses:
- Admittance/access - swipe or show your WildCARD to get into
campus buildings, purchase tickets, etc.
- establish your netid and e-mail account
- gain admittance to the library during restricted hours
- check out library materials
- cash checks at the Bursar's Office or Norris University
Center
- use the IT computer labs
- use the Student Health Service (students only)
- gain admittance to undergraduate seating at sporting
events
- purchase tickets for music and theater performances
- use shuttle bus services
- purchase a parking permit
- enter the Sports Pavilion and Aquatic Center
- pick up keys for student groups at Norris Main Desk

- Banking - if you choose to set up
an account with U.S. Bank, you have the option of turning your
WildCARD into your ATM/debit card.
- CashStripe - store up to $50 on
your card to use in vending machines, copiers, and washer/dryers.
- Meal
Plan - your meal plan information is stored on your WildCARD
(The Meal Plan portion of your WildCARD is handled by University
Housing. Any questions or problems with your Meal Plan or Munch
Money should be directed to them.)
- Discounts
- the WildCARD Advantage Discounts Program maintains a list of
over 200 businesses in the Evanston, Chicago, and surrounding
areas that offer discounts to anyone with a valid WildCARD.
