Bicycle Parking
The Chicago Campus bike room offers secure parking for an annual fee of only $25.00. The new bike room can accommodate 68 bikes and is located in the Erie-Ontario Parking Garage ( D Lot), located at 321 E. Erie. The bike room is locked and an authorized WildCARD is required to access it.
Visit the Chicago Parking/WildCARD Office in Abbott Hall, Room 100, between 8am and 5pm, Monday-Friday, to enroll in the program and reserve your spot in the bike room.
Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis with priority given to students.
Procedures and Agreement
Northwestern University, owner of the Erie Ontario parking garage (Lot D) located at 321 E. Erie Street in Chicago will grant non-exclusive licenses to use the bike storage room, subject to availability, for parking one bicycle during the work day (5am to 12am)
Eligibility Requirements
Northwestern University faculty, staff, students and medical residents, are eligible to store a bike on a first-come, first serve basis. If capacity exists to allow the public to use the bike room, Northwestern University may allow the public to use the bike room at its sole discretion.
Procedure/Rules
Upon completion of the Bicycle Parking Agreement and acceptance by Northwestern University, the user will be given keycard access to the bike room.
Although the bike room has a locked outside door accessible via keycard, the bike owner is responsible for keeping his/her bike locked when placed in the bike room. All bicycles and accessories placed in the bike room shall be placed there at the bike owner’s sole risk.
The user agrees to leave the room in the same condition as it was found. The bike room is not to be used for any other use outside of storing your own bike.
Annual bicycle rental fee is $ 25.00
